You know your child better than anyone. At Best Start, we believe that two way communication is vital and we have systems in place to ensure that the exchange of information can happen easily. Aside from the informal day to day chats that happen when you drop off and pick up your child, each child under the age of two has a daily diary sheet, whilst the planned activities for our older children are displayed in the relevant room.

There is also a regular newsletter for parents to keep you informed of any events or changes in nursery life. In addition, we hold parents’ evenings twice a year, giving you the opportunity to see what your child does all day, to talk to staff and ask any questions that you may have. We hope that, although you aren’t able to be with your child when they are at nursery, the systems in place will give you an insight into how they spend their time with us – the next best thing.
