Experience has taught us that our children benefit enormously
from investigating the world outside the
nursery walls.
Something as simple as a walk to the
shops can be a valuable learning
opportunity – as well as enormous fun. We
regularly organise trips and walks around
the local area: to the library or the park for
example.
Visits are carefully planned to ensure that
the experience enhances and supports the
nursery curriculum, and we also organise an
annual trip for all the children.
When arranging an excursion outside the
nursery, parental permission is required and
child:staff ratios are strictly adhered to.
