- Experience has taught us that our children benefit enormously from investigating the world outside the nursery walls.
- Something as simple as a walk to the shops can be a valuable learning opportunity – as well as enormous fun. We regularly organise trips and walks around the local area: to the library or the park for example.
- Visits are carefully planned to ensure that the experience enhances and supports the nursery curriculum, and we also organise an annual trip for all the children.
- When arranging an excursion outside the nursery, parental permission is required and the child:staff ratios are strictly adhered to.
- Our children go outside ‘whatever the weather’ so appropriate weather wear is vital for you to bring along.
- We also grow our own vegetables and fruit with the help of the children, once grown the children enjoy eating then either for break or lunch.
